Initial attempts to emulate American Rock & Roll began in Britain in the late 50's. By the mid-60's, spearheaded by The Beatles, British Rock had a considerable impact on the development of American Rock Music. This oil painting is a tribute to some of my favorites including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Clash, Elton John, The Who, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Queen and The Rolling Stones
