The painting entitled “Forever 27” is a tribute to what in popular culture is known as The 27 Club.

The 27 Club is the unofficial name given to a group of musicians, actors and artists who died tragically at the young age of twenty-seven. They were some of the most gifted individuals of their generation. The most notable members are Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse. This painting is a celebration of their incredible talents. In our hearts and our minds they will be “Forever 27”
