The painting entitled “Pop Art” contains two of my favorite pop artists. Featuring:
- Roy Lichtenstein’s “Girl with Hair Ribbon”, it took 7 hours for me to place approximately 2,600 dots on her face by hand with a brush
- My definition of what Pop Art is – “Mass culture depicted in Fine Art (this is what I try to do in my art)
- Andy Warhol’s iconic Marilyn Monroe portrait
